Locally, Maderia Beach is home to John’s Pass Fishing and Shopping Village. Dinner and casino cruises are a great choice as are adventure tours like dolphin sightseeing, parasailing, jet skiing or scuba diving. In nearby St. Petersburg you can enjoy fascinating museums and also Fort De Soto Park & Beach (recently rated the top beach in the United States). Take a trip to Tarpon Springs, a quaint Greek fishing village famously known for sponge diving. Take a drive up to Clearwater Beach for an evening of fun at Pier 60. In Tampa, you won't want to miss historic Ybor City, the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) and of course, spend a day at Busch Gardens or Adventure Island.
